These Terms govern direct sales on https://www.polyglot-publishing.com. They do not apply to purchases made via third-party platforms. The French version is the sole legally binding version.

a) Digital e-books: PDF (all sizes) provided for immediate download after payment.

b) Print-on-demand books: each book is manufactured individually after the order, according to the language combination and bilingual presentation mode selected by the customer (alternating reading, parallel columns, etc.), by our print partners Lulu Press, Inc. and Expressta. Polyglot Publishing is the legal seller.

All prices are in euros inclusive of applicable taxes. Payment is made online via Stripe and is debited immediately upon confirmation. Polyglot Publishing does not store card numbers.

After payment, the e-book is accessible: from the order confirmation page, by e-mail (via Resend), and from the customer account if the purchase was made while logged in.

The link is valid indefinitely. Limit: 12 downloads maximum across 3 different formats (portrait phone, small e-reader, computer, etc.). The customer is responsible for saving the file. In the event of a proven technical problem before the quota is reached, contact contact@polyglot-publishing.com.

Each e-book contains a digital watermark (visible or invisible) linked to the order, enabling identification of the file in the event of unauthorised distribution. E-books are for strictly personal use. Any unauthorised sharing constitutes copyright infringement.

Manufacturing time: 2 to 5 business days (Lulu Press or Expressta depending on the order). Total indicative timeframe: 5 to 25 business days depending on the destination country.

A tracking number is sent by e-mail via Resend once dispatched. Delivery is available in most countries subject to partner conditions.

E-books: pursuant to applicable consumer law (French art. L. 221-28 5° Code de la consommation), the right of withdrawal does not apply to digital content whose execution has begun with the consumer's express consent. By confirming the order, the customer expressly waives this right upon provision of the download link.

Print books: pursuant to French art. L. 221-28 3° Code de la consommation, the right of withdrawal does not apply to goods manufactured to the consumer's specifications. Each book is produced individually to the customer's chosen language combination and bilingual presentation mode and cannot be restocked or resold. No returns or refunds will be accepted on this basis.

Statutory warranty of conformity: applies for 2 years from delivery. It covers defects existing at the time of delivery: damaged printing, missing pages, unreadable file, wrong item received. It does not cover a change of mind.

Warranty against hidden defects (French art. 1641 et seq. Civil Code): if a hidden defect renders the product unfit for its intended use or significantly reduces its use, you have 2 years from discovery of the defect to act. You may choose between cancellation of the sale or a price reduction (art. 1644).

Defective print books: contact contact@polyglot-publishing.com with photos and order number. Polyglot Publishing will coordinate with Lulu Press or Expressta for a reprint or, where not possible, a refund.

Purchase grants a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence for strictly private use. Any reproduction, distribution or resale is prohibited and constitutes copyright infringement.

Data is processed in accordance with the Privacy Policy. Main providers: Stripe (payment), Resend (e-mails), Lulu Press and Expressta (printing and delivery), Trustpilot (customer reviews).

These Terms are governed by French law. French courts have sole jurisdiction.
