Book summary

In the year 2353, Tom Corbett, a cadet at Space Academy, is to show visitors around his spaceship, the Polaris, with his unit-mates Roger and Astro at a great exhibition on Venus. At night, two men dig a tunnel under the exhibition and steal the plans of a key that opens the safes of every spaceship. They become space pirates and free the dangerous outlaw Bull Coxine. Tom disguises himself as a prisoner and gets aboard their ship. A fast, clear science-fiction novel for young readers that combines an investigation with a chase across the solar system.

The benefits of the bilingual method with Line-by-line synced layout

Every line of the original has its translation directly beneath it, at the same height. You never lose your place: your eye drops one line and lands on exactly the sentence it just read. This is the layout that lets you open a book in a language you barely know without ever giving up, and compare the two texts almost word for word.

The excerpt shows the method using another book from the catalogue, not this one.
