چنان در افکار خود غرق بود که بی‌درنگ به اعتراض من پاسخی نداد.

هرچند پیش از این تنها دو بار آن را دیده‌ام.

The Greek e with the peculiar top flourish is distinctive.

پورلاک مهم است،

Porlock is important,

نه به خاطر خودش،

not for himself,

بلکه به خاطر مرد بزرگی که با او در ارتباط است.

but for the great man with whom he is in touch.
